Vaishno College of Engineering

VCOE was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Mata Vaishno Devi Educational Society with the aim to provide higher education to the Students. It started with B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering with an intake of 60 seats each. At VCOE, we strive to shape young minds who can excel in their respective fields. The emphasis is on developing a well rounded personality in the students who are trained to be prudent and practical with an ability to balance vision with ground reality.
 
Since its beginning, the strides made by the College are very impressive. The infrastructure has witnessed a requisite up gradation due to which it has expanded the outreach and scope of its academic activities with every passing year. In the year 2011, the intake in Civil and Mechanical Engineering was increased to 120 each and in the year 2012 it was increased to 240 seats in Civil. Also, the permission to run M.Tech in Civil and Mechanical engineering courses with an intake of 24 seats each and Diploma in Civil and Mechanical engineering with an intake of 60 seats each was accorded in the year 2012.
 
In the year 2013, the college has been granted for B.Tech - 300 seats in Civil Engineering, 180 in Mechanical Engineering, 60 in Electronics and Communication Engineering, 60 in Computer Science Engineering and 60 in Electrical Engineering. In M.tech – 24 seats in Civil Engineering, 24 seats in Mechanical Engineering, 24 seats in Computer Science Engineering and 24 seats in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In Diploma – 60 seats in Civil Engineering, 60 seats in Mechanical Engineering, 60 seats in Electronics and Communication Engineering and 60 seats in Electrical Engineering.
 
It is owing to the fast growing reputation of this College that we have students from various states of India.
